I have seen truck drivers underestimating a bridge hight, mistaking road for a river is a new one, Thanks for the chuckle.

Sandy, it was bound to happen eventually...do keep an eye, that she gets off the nest occasionally, Silkies get a bit intense when broody, you may want to talk to Doug.
Nice cast?? I would have stickers and writing on it by now. Youre so disciplined. If I don't see her nibbles in the food tray I'm going to panic. I'm going to PM Doug now.

Thanks OC!

BVF if he doesn't get it in before i visit you again, he can read with my ODBII reader....i own one. did the shop tell him what the code was? can you find out from him? it honestly sounds to me like the shift sensor....and that could be wire like mentioned above, or the RPM sensor (which is the rebuilt he probably just had done), or a couple of other obscure things if i remember correctly from my last POS FORD truck. i'm sooooo happy with the ecoboost engine, you wouldn't believe! i LOVE my truck. 0 to 60, on sheet ice from a freshly green light, just letting the truck do its thing with no problem whatsoever UPHILL! lol. everyone else was spinning out or just practicing making fresh ice. i have the locking differential, a light foot, the ability to shift manually if i want, shift on the fly 4x4...i didn't even spin a tire. did i mention i LOVE my new truck??! :racer:

he can get an ODBII online fairly cheap, i think mine was about 150$....pays for itself basically the first time you use it based on what the "hook up the computer for 100$" fee is at a mechanic these days.

The cast is fiberglass so it doesn't have a smooth surface and catches on everything so i made it a colorful sock, will that do? :)
Can't imagine this will go fast, desperately trying to figure out what to do that requires only one hand and will not annoy arthritis so much I will loose use of that one too.
Took a whole bunch of sparkly tree pictures, will post some later.
Now to soak navy beens and defrost lovely back bacon from KB, DH is cooking tomorrow. :)

OK, at first I thought Colleen was recommending drugs, then I read Kathy's post recommending drugs, and realized Colleen meant limb.... and all I had was glass of wine with lunch deciding that would be more effective then whatever was in the pill bottle. ;)

"glad it's friday. the new nerve drugs i got for the back are doing GREAT. finally. but man they are obnoxious on the head. massive headaches...but at least my back and leg aren't screaming 24/7...and i stopped throwing up from the pain, a definite plus i must say. i know, sorry, i'll stop whining now. "

Hey Kathy, if I had pain like that I'd look at the "wacky" stuff. Its effective, no side effects except the "munchies" and it won't burn out your liver or kidneys after long term use. (Will also accelerate schizophrenia if you use a lot as a teenager.) Read the side effects of everything you take.

I've never tried it but I wouldn't hesitate if I had a medical need.
