Then there's always ice fishing!

We do have an indoor sauna, but I don't go roll in the snow after a sauna baronrenfrew, nor do I go jump into the cold river, as I remember some of them use to do. I haven't gone ice fishing for years. I agree more with Poultryprincess in that I stay close to my woodstove, except yesterday we had to go to my son's place in town that is about an hour drive for our family Christmas celebration. It was brutally cold. Vehicles were broken down in places on the side of the road from freezing up. Oh, I just like to hibernate when it is this cold. Right now at 9:30am it is -31 feeling like -37. When it gets to these -30 - -40 temps, even with a wood stove, at times you can feel it in the house. Sure go through the fire wood. These temps are suppose to continue until after New Year's.baronrenfrew wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2017 12:33 pmMmuffin, gotta do like the Finlanders (i know there's a bunch of descendants up there) and build a sauna, get good and warm, then go roll in the snow then go back in the sauna.
