I'm pretty sure I live with the man who could have written that. He is somewhere up north right now and wont be back until next month. I hope he comes home with moose this year. Yummy.

Very funny!
When we got married we didn't have much money. I was offered a choice of motorcycle boots (I had my own bike) or a wedding ring. I picked the boots and don't wear a ring to this day!

HA HA! i saw this yesterday on my facebook and just about cried i was laughing so hard. he did however, forget the obvious....TAKE THE GIRL HUNTING! LOL.
my hubby and i had a wedding-cost us the license fee and 150$ to get the JOP to do it. 2 witnesses. that was it. and i wouldn't have it any other way.
KB, i would have chosen the boots too, but must admit, i do wear a wedding band....but we couldn't justify a huge wedding....and all the drama that goes with them!

Lol, yup he just needs a woman who would rather go with him.
A few years ago a guy near us invited some people over for a barbecue, just before they were going to eat he announced that if everyone would just give him and his girlfriend a few minutes, the local Minister was going to marry them. They got hitched and then went for the burgers lol, no fuss just the way they wanted it!
