Poor economic conditions are no excuse for inhumane treatment. The owner of this animal expected his donkey to pull a load that was so far beyond the animal's capabilities, even without that one last bag that "tipped the scales".

So, I'd like to be the peacemaker today. Normally I stir up the poop real good, but let's all have ...... You guessed it!! Group hugs!!! ❤️

Change of topic or hijacked however you want to look at it. What's everyone having for dinner tonight?? I took some chilli out of the freezer, seeing as I'm on my own for dinner and made a fresh loaf of ciabatta bread. Not that I'll eat the whole loaf, hopefully, but it's snowing and chilli and fresh bread never killed anyone. That I know of anyways.

Canada, the most affluent of countries, operates on a depletion economy which leaves destruction in its wake. Your people are driven by a terrible sense of deficiency. When the last tree is cut, the last fish is caught, and the last river is polluted; when to breathe the air is sickening, you will realize, too late, that wealth is not in bank accounts and that you can’t eat money.
