There have benn quite a few barn fires in ontario lately..most frequently horse barns...do they ever resolve the cause?...the media never seems to follow up..surprise surprise

With the 3 since he new year I'm wondering if there is any connection. Seems like years without anything in the news, then bam, 3 fires in 2 months

Saw statistics on these & there have been less over the last 10 yrs . A Fire Marshall was interviewed & his comment was that over last 10 yrs statistics show a decrease but feels cause of social media reporting to news agency's now just hearing more about them .
I have a very large fire extinguisher in my small barn , a smoke alarm at each end & a baby monitor with other monitor on at house just in case . Hopefully I'm home if a fire ever starts . . Luck

I heard that theres actually no increase in fires overall but they are being better publicized....
its always a fear-grain attracts rodents that chew on wires and it gets cold and heaters/lights on and shorts from chewed wires plus dust = fire....
