*WARNING* Says Sh*t, but you can handle it
i had a guinea that would pick a chicken and then bully the crap out of that chosen chicken for quite some time. after a week I had enough. grabbed the 20 gauge and the dog n I chased it over into a safe spot.... when it took flight I nailed it. I felt so good and it tasted even better. peace
I found a nest of garter snakes thanks to the guineas finding them first. I moved about 20 baby garter snakes back to the bush and saved most of them.

Yep: pheasant, guinea, partridge, quail all similiar to taste and cook. No fat: so rub w olive oil or butter or wrap in bacon. Stuff w chopped black olives, walnuts n mushrooms. Put in dutch oven: fill empty space w carrots and onions. 375 degrees until cooked (have to look it up ...so much time per pound). Mmmmmm i just planned Sunday dinner...I'll take a pic and post it... it seems I've started a trend w the chili.

I cant tell the difference between wild pheasant and domestic pheasant.....guinea meat is darker in colour....but tastes just like pheasant.
i found guineas too abnoxiously noisy and bullies to be bothered to keep raising them

I have about 30 Guineas that run around our yard and yess they are loud at times they are also good for protecting from cats etc.
They will guard the feed dish if young, they free range in the yard of about 1 acre and back to the coop at night.
They make a good hunting pack, the garden plants are not safe they love young onions and garlick, chives and some others.
