Is lucky a turkey or chicken? Just curious

Lucky may be a bit of a cat, first life when he went to KB, since he couldn't be used here for breeding after the first season if he hadn't gone to KB it would have been camp Kenmore, and I think he used up few more lives since then.
It's him in my AVATAR

Yes
Camp Kenmore, Yote in field over the road - got the girls hidden, Rat attack - got bitten legs, Coopers Hawk - up in the air at it spurs up, Grey Owl - got the girls into the coop and screamed abuse at said owl, dog attack - was part of the free ranging group that survived. That time he had the sense not to take on the dog and ran. Carried home shaking and whimpering!!!! Think he'd better be careful from now on.

Good morning everyone! Slowly getting pens cleaned this weekend. Processed some nice cockerels yesterday to the freezer and had a nice visit from farrier1987 and his wife. Its always great to put faces to names and connect outside the virtual world! The weather yesterday was unbelievable 18C here and just a tad breezy lol. My girls wouldnt come out because it was too windy!! Was checking everyone last night and one of my marans girl-beautiful full feather coat in the morning is almost naked! The pen just littered in feathers. Poor thing....hard moult...i can see the new feathers coming in so hopefully she will grow in soon. Always shocks me when they do that. Slow morning here today...but thats okay. Its the weekend...waiting on one egg yet to hatch-if it does-one cornish fuzzybutt hatched already. Yay! Hope everyone has a great day.

I cleaned a pen this weekend too. I'm not sure how you're doing all that with your back WLLady, or even if you should be. I'm leaving the Silkie one for now. It's fine. They really aren't massive poopers compared to a full size chicken.

We had an engine blow on a skidsteer today (damn employees), so this means coffee pot, cookies and computer in the kitchen. I was trying to finish up baking before they got in here but no such luck. It's all good; One way to get everyone together. Open the window when you're making cookies and text to everyone in the garage coffees on!

Josh is excited for the rebuild. Right up his alley!

Hope everyone has a great rest of the day with some down time before Monday slams into calendar again.

Cheers!!
