Wow someone upset about paying bird costs as well as quota? That's commercial level, no way they'd move that many chicks to backyard farmers, and they're likely all meat birds....not to mention the time to load them? just wow.lolotsung wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 6:41 amhttps://london.ctvnews.ca/30-000-chicks ... -1.6364564
Why would anyone want to steal 30,000 chicks? Sell them for money?

My god people will steal anything, there was a $ 20 000 000 worth of gold stolen from Toronto airport, much better choice in my opinion

OK something really odd about that whole thing. Personally we have all the biosecurity signs plus cameras with 24 hr surveillance. These guys didn't? SO much for heightened biosecurity with AI!WLLady wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 8:37 amWow someone upset about paying bird costs as well as quota? No kidding Ross, and I agree OC.
I'd love to go out turkey hunting but in all honesty, I'd rather put the money for the tag into actual turkeys, hatching eggs or poults. Times are tough, can't swing it just for a chance and I can go for a walk through my bush anytime I want to get out into the outdoors.
Way it goes.
