Re: Good Morning
OK, so I have been MIA off and on for a while. I am just fine. I am lethargic about life in general, from covid to fox problems to politics to climate change to having to butcher a couple of my goat babies from this spring. Life overall does not suck, but it has its moments. On the brighter side, Saint Catherine is pretty good to me, even if she is crabby some times.
And this is not a bright spot ALL the time, but my mom is here for an indeterminate visit. Actually going pretty well. She collects the eggs every day. She is making friends with the fauna about the place, and regaling us with stories of when I was 8 and did... Well, she is regaling Cath and herself anyway, I am not always chortling at stuff I would rather forget. Oh well. The old bat is 93 and has nothing better to do.
I am actually pleased that she came from Alberta to stay for a while, she missed the brutal winter startup they have had. Lots of my hunter gatherer instincts came from her. And at her 93 and me 70, she preens when someone asks me if this is my sister.
Anyway, if anyone wants to know, I am still alive and moderately well, just retreating further into my shell. I will try to be ore sociable on here.

Re: Good Morning
Love the photos and as a life-long introvert I understand the need to go quiet sometimes. Your mom looks great and fun!

Re: Good Morning
Looks as if she is having fun. You are lucky that your mum is still around, and able to remind you of all those childhood memories that you'd rather forget! I know that is very difficult, but try to smile as you change the subject :).
