He made it home. Someone stopped and gave him a lift on a skidoo. So a nice hot chocolate with a good shot of dark rum it is! he's warming his butt by the wood stove! Saw the neighbours walk by with their two kids a few minutes earlier. Hope they didn't walk too far. I tried to call her at work and warn her to stay off our road but I missed her.

Snow: Ottawa got 46cm so far, with another 10 coming. Congrats to us... a new record!

Sandy, that's pretty close to what my trek to the coop looked like when I got home. Not quite, but the snow was well over the tops of my knee high boots.

Wow!!! Will y'all kill me if I say I'm jealous? We only got about 15cm or so. I feel ripped off!

Just stomped out to close the girls in..up to my knees, over the boots..yeehah!!!!!... Gotta love it...winter finally got here
