Re: Good Morning
Yup we did too, not about to let anybody interfere with my celebration :)
was just a bit surprised by the general malaise along our road.
Neighbors had a bit of a fireworks going last night, now I know for sure the old dog is completely deaf, no reaction at all from him,
glad I train all our dogs with voice + hand commands, who knew that would come in handy

Beautiful day today, woodpeckers feeding babies and showing them where to drum un the metal barn roof to make the most noise possible :)

Re: Good Morning
I love my country and the flag.
Saw one of those pickups in Chatham yesterday. Three Canadian flags and that snake "Don't Tread on Me" flag.
Why someone insists on imitating a US problem and protests and its symbols, I do not understand. It is actually called the Gadsden flag, designed for the US Marines in about 1780. (This guy's was on white background, looked like he had drawn it with a felt pen.)
I also have a neighbor that has an F Trudeau flag up. I am not a huge Trudeau fan, but that is just rude and offensive, Like saying "Knock this chip off my shoulder and see what happens." It bothers me.
Well, enough politics, which we are not to get going on on this site.

Farrier1987. South of Chatham on Lake Erie. Chickens, goats, horse, garden, dog, cat. Worked all over the world. Know a little bit about a lot of things. No incubator, broody hens.
Re: Good Morning
Pizza found a snake in our house! I've always liked snakes. So far I have never met a mean one. My mom said she's been chased by snakes in Taiwan. She's terrified if them.

Mmmmm read about Poultry or read about politics... Hard pass on the politics... On that note... I'm taking the poultry gurus at PTO's advice and I'm going to start reading Storeys Guide to Raising Poultry tonight...I feel like I'm going to be saying... Oops I didn't do this properly... Again and again...

The Royal Canadian Air Farce is as close to politics as I get

It's OK @lolotsung I think most of us started out without much idea of what we were in for. Biggest shock was discovering that chickens have personalities and that it hurts to lose one!

I was reading about what chickens taste and found this company that feeds different foods to different chickens to change the taste of the meat.
