I love watching them, it’s so amazing to seem them whip around so quickly right after hatching.
We had a pair nest in the transformer cage right by the cheese plant and the chicks got very good at dodging cars and transports!

@ross you still out there? Haven't heard from you in a bit.....hoping the new phone is treating you right!
Someone please send some rain this way before our crops die. The corn is pineappled and the beans are sprouted and looking pretty stressed. Anyways, had a couple of people wondering where @ross is, so.....hopefully everything is okay!

I think my body AND my brain are slowing down. Something wrong with my left knee. Going for xray and ultrasound tomorrow. I'm working for a few more years to pass on what I've learned to the younger engineers. So little of what we do is in books. I won't have the energy to work full-time for much longer...I think it's almost impossible to get a good night's sleep with a dog, cat, kids, hubby, and my suboptimal bladder

(thanks to my giant babies) Hope you feel better soon

Ug you know it's annoying when you wake up because you're still tired but your body HURTS from lying down all night. No one warned me this getting older thing would be this annoying!!!!!
However, i am thankful that i'm still on this side of the grass, seeing as in the last 6 months i'm now caregiving to 2 people with cancer, one terminal, and the other can't lose many more parts to surgery.....and both are family, after just losing my dad to cancer. So...if i can avoid cancer and keep the aches and pains, SOLD! Darned genetics gets ya every time. sigh.
