Re: Good Morning!
LOL. you would laugh at how many primer caps for the muzzleloaders we've put through the wash and the dryer. They won't fire after the washer, but if you then put them in the dryer after the wash, they will actually fire again! Never had one go off in the dryer thankfully. My DH discovered that spend 12g shells do smell in the dryer though, and trying to get that plastic smell out of the laundry is not easy....
DH just informed me he's going to cut down some trees. great. i am going to be absolutely ZERO help, given i can barely walk today. awesome. sigh. we'll need to move hay for the horses today too. i think i'm just going to settle for getting the last of the christmas shopping done online and drink some more tea. I can hear the guinea-idiots outside enjoying the no snow (it all melted yesterday. slow day for me. those are good sometimes.

Re: Good Morning!
While planning to put my next food order in, it occurred to me that Christmas is next week ?? WTH ?
I clearly remember saying... "what happened to September": ?
Attempted to drop off a return of "arrived broken" goods to Amazon, by the way of UPS...
What was I thinking ? One lonely counter person having a relaxed conversation about a cost of goods send to Zambia...
4 more people after her and after waiting for 10 minutes considering my options, although I was obediently standing on MY red circle, was asked to wait outside since I and the person after me were in excess of the 4 people allowed in the store.... so in -17C my decision was made promptly :)
This is a rhetorical question, but were there the same number of stupid people around before covid, as after covid, or are they just more visible ??

Re: Good Morning!
One way to get rid of that smell is to wash something in gasoline and then put it in the dryer. (Dont do this at home) The roughnecks on the rig would get crude on their coveralls and wash them in gasoline, then take them to the laundromat pout them through the industrial washing machine there, then into the dryer. More than one laundromat had the doors blown off the dryer, and/or windows and doors blown out. Good clean coveralls after that.

A good morning here. Bit of snow laying around from flurries yesterday. Sun coming out, no wind.

@WLLady get your scope out! The conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter is lovely. For anyone who is interested you will get a great view usung binocs or a spotting scope. Look in the SW after sunset. Tonight Jupiters moons were strung out towards Saturn. Gorgeous.

Re: Good Morning!
OK so I was watching US news this am and there was an announcement regarding Space Force. Apparently they are going to be called "Guardians". This is going wrong on so many levels I nearly peed laughing. A friend recorded SPace Force with Steve Carell for me and that was hilarious. More material here for him I think. At least they aren't called Guardians of the Galaxy!
