Yeah, a big mistake on my part, used to growing tomatoes under cover protected from deer, had couple plants left over and had a "brilliant idea" use them as landscaping plants in the back yard, thinking since it's now fully fenced it will be protected from deer, somehow forgetting about all the other critters

:)) I know, I have watched them clear 4' with ease and space to spare.
this is a 1/4 acre fenced for the dogs and it cuts off the deer thru that existed before, not enough room to take a good run at it and neatly channels them directly in to my hosta garden :)
The deer haven't tried it yet, but the turkey hen seems to consider it her morning calisthenics :)

good evening everyone
just taking a break to straighten my back out before chores. just filled the dehydrator with basil. so much basil. its almost cockerel processing time. i was going to move birds this weekend but its still hot during the day. so maybe we will process a few at a time this time. have a nice mahogany carrying welbar that i definitelyneed to keep for something lol. Mr Mike had a bad case of bumblefoot...still recovering....might need another treatment in a couple days....soon muscovy processing too. too many of those. the little guineas are being adopted by one of the older males and are gradually getting out and about. theres at least 3 girls...hopefully more in the group of 11.
glad its the weekend. been a busy week!
