DH didn't see any either and I only saw one very small one, and only fleetingly. We were looking NE, NW as well as straight up.

It was a lovely clear, stary stary night and I remembered to look in the NE when I took Chloe (the lab) out for her final potty break at 10.30pm, but I didn't see any meteors. I lay in bed looking out of the north facing window above the bed for a while, but still nothing :(.

Will try looking east tonight, but it's so rare that I remember, and that it's a clear night when these things happen.....

Tried again last night too. One. Not worth missing out on an extra half hour of sleep.

Glad I didn't stay up to miss the shooting starts Jaye! As it was, we slept in this morning and I need to be out there early, watering and gardening before it gets too hot......

Good morning, at least 5 minutes of it left,
another lovely day, listened to a loon this morning, such en eat sound, and then a big alarm of crows, looked up a large hawk was trying to get out of their way, I have been seeing him around lately, but with the crows around I could tell how large he was, glad the crows are on top of things.
There are 5 eggs in the fridge, (from 8 hens) they have been there for a week or two, nobody is laying, I think I am afraid to use them because the I will have no eggs? Or just wanting to remember what they looked like.
