Re: Coronavirus - how much do you worry ?
I have also wondered what will happen when this is over, but not sure if it will ever be 'quite' over, and I think we will never go 'quite' back to what we were before, because the disasters always happened somewhere else to somebody else and we thought we were mostly immune.
This one is much too close for comfort, and some of our habits will definitely change.
Inovation will hapen in many industries and services, that will help with physical distancing, which I suspect is here to stay in one form or another.
That of course excludes the completely oblivious and the "shoppers" who consider shopping entertainment, who will do what they want with complete disregard for others.

Last time I went for groceries there was still hardly any flour or toilet paper. I wonder if people are using them to make papier mache. :)

I agree with Ross; Marshall law could be on its way sooner than we think.
These are my thoughts:
As soon as there is a vaccine, it will be "mandatory".
Soon we will be accounted for via our cell phones.
Since our current government is holding meetings without the opposition present, they will pass Bills to their hearts content, whatever gives them more power. Then they will do what they want; and by that time, the general public will be happy to comply.
Oh, and... also because with this virus, grocery stores, pharmacies, and the LCBO for example, only let one person in at a time. So people will be used to waiting in line, and entrance and exit from businesses controlled and monitored.
Yes, unless our current government is stopped, we will surely have a Totalitarian state, then Communist. People forget that Trudeau Sr. spent a lot of his younger years in Communist China. I'm sure he taught his son well on that.

Its easy with cell phone tracking. Leave it at home!
It does look like we're starting to plateau some. Fingers crossed. If people can keep up the distancing for the next 2 weeks, we may have a hope!
I just read though that people that had covid, and then recovered, and tested negative at least twice, some are testing positive again. So either reinfection is happening or reemergence....they're trying to figure out which-if they are getting a slightly different strain or a mutation is allowing them to be reinfected by someone else, or there aren't antibodies made that stick around in people, or if the virus is hiding out somewhere like HIV can, and then pop back out. ARGH!
Have to admit it's an ingenious little package of protein and RNA.....for something that technically is not alive.

Pretty scary if that is mutating that quickly, or whatever is allowing them to be reinfected. Means all this stuff working on a vaccine will be for last weeks strain. This thing is the boogie man personified, or virusized. Seriously Scary.

...and don't get to participate in society.
Horrible system in China: https://www.techinasia.com/phones-qr-in ... le-beijing
I read up on the apps they develop in EU, based on bluetooth technology. I like those. Google and Apple want to provide something like that, too. Hopefully we get to see the sourcecode before government makes use of it.
