that's great news farrier! i'm glad the gov is coming through on their promises.

And i will apologize in advance for this.
I have just seen a publication (several actually) that covid-19 can aerosolize.
which means 6 feet ain't good enough.

Been saying/ thinking that for awhile . More is better less is Russian Roulette . This thing can seem to be alive & more deadly , worse than any horror movie Hollyweird has come out with .

They are preprints before publication so unfortunately I cannot right now.....but here is a link to a new scientist story from friday https://www.the-scientist.com/news-opin ... sols-67380 and here is another link showing that when SARS-COV-2 is artifically made to aerosolize that it can remain infective for a period of time (in a lab-and this was the scientists making it into an aerosol) https://www.the-scientist.com/news-opin ... days-67260

this was published in march https://link.springer.com/article/10.10 ... 20-02218-2 as a letter to the editor warning of the possibility from mongolia and china.
When/if I see the final published papers (hopefully within the next week or so) I'll try to get the links posted.

Me too, unfortunately they don't send the whole preprints.....and i'm not qualified to peer review a virus paper, and it was too much virology and not enough molecular biology for me to feel comfortable in saying yes to review it. But if they are accepted for publication i'll grab them then....

OK Good News @labradors!!!! Manolls Fish & Chips is back open! This may no seem like much but it is the only good place to get Take-out in town. Apparentlly they were in self isolatin after a vacay. Now since I'm supposed to support local businesses would it be wrong to have F & C once a week? I suspect my jeans would find it wrong.

We have an acc with our Co-op so we go & back up to where feed is stay in vehicle tell um what yu want , they load it & away yu go . So far so good .
Our local feed mill is taking orders at the door, writing out what we want, taking payment, and delivering to the vehicle (as usual). So no one is allowed to enter the building.
