i figure...i've had a few nosebleeds in my life...if that didn't kill me a little blood spot in an egg sure wont. LOL.

Ack had one this morning that I cracked for my breakfast. It had a blood streak but also a clot :barf: . Scrambled it up and was going to eat it......but then cooked it for the dog,

I have a girl who was dropping shell-less eggs off the roost. She finally got herself to putting a really crappy shell quality on her eggs, but at least it's a shell. However, she has hard big meat chunks, similar to a maran egg, in her egg. These eggs go to the dog and cats.

KB I prefer my muffins meat free LOL so I don't use these eggs for anything other than pet food. No need to waste here. A blood spot doesn't bother me .. That blood smear looked too much like the begging stages of chick development for me. Nasty!!

Thanks for sharing windwalkingwolf. Quite interesting. Sure didn't realize the length of time it takes for an egg to develop.
