RIP Scooby, AKA Awesome Dog. Too well loved to ever be forgotten. "Sometime in June", 2005 - January 24, 2017.

After hearing the news here in Ont yesterday looks like WE are the frontline now & the health system will soon be overwhelmed if we don’t follow the rules . Dig in hunker down . Are we grown up enough for this One can only hope Luck all . Stiff upper lip .

So, Doug Ford has impressed the heck out of me. Never a fan. However, he has handled this mess like a real champ. After yesterday's press conference and showing us the numbers good for him for the steps he has taken! At the beginning of this mess, I picked up a box of masks. I'm very glad I did.
Hang in there, we'll make it through, stay safe, stay HOME!

I feel the same. I was never a fan but I said last week that I think we have been very fortunate to have him leading our province through this time. Can you imagine what it would have been like with the former wingnut?Kbr42 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 8:01 amSo, Doug Ford has impressed the heck out of me. Never a fan. Well I can tell you that it sure seems that a lot of citiots were heading to their cottages here last night. Grrreeeeaaat.
I have never in my life been so thankful to live in the country. Aside from not going to work 5 days a week and the extra steps around grocery shopping, I can't say that a lot has changed in my everyday life. Not to the extent of some. I consider myself very fortunate. I feel bad for anybody living apartment life right now. I feel bad for anybody still needing to go out to work with the public. I feel bad for all of the elderly couples that are now separated because one of them is in nursing care.

I am with you,@Happy ..the efforts made by those who cannot stay home and put themselves out there makes me appreciate them even more than I ever have before...it'slike the song says....taking for granted...it choked me up a bit and that's not an easy thing to doHappy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 8:31 pmJaye I love that. loved the song! also loved that he didn't change the key of the song! LOL. he's got a good voice ha ha
just had 2 sparrows come down the chimney. the one is stuck in the front room with a cat close behind (argh) and the other has been liberated.....it has begun....haha.
I have to go to the feed store today. quick trip. ordered online, drive in, load and pay and drive out.
then i'm spending the weekend in the sun (until it rains later today). get the rest of the vegetables seeded in the greenhouse and build a raised bed herb garden i've been wanting to do for the last 2 years. carpe diem! (or something like that).
i'm very impressed with ford. i must admit.
