Aye, the chinese had a civilization and a written language a thousand years before the European powers. The chinese have a long list of developments in their history: they sailed on trade missions around Africa 500 years before the Portugese did. The Chinese believed they had a wonderful land where outsiders were not allowed in thus the "forbidden kingdom." Their one downfall was that they had no desire to conquer the world.
The rice growing cultures (Japan, Korea, China etc.) share an interesting history and cultural work ethic: they gave young kids a set of difficult math tests: North American kids gave up after 5 minutes : Japanese kids and Chinese kids... 15 minutes and still working at it.

No wonder you couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day my dearest, that's because you are just a "little shrimp". On the other hand, Ross and I are eating machines! Knock out or happy pill eh'? If I did that, then maybe the stewardess would take advantage of me ha ha.kenya wrote:QR_BBPOST Love the mandarin, took my husband there Friday. Happy Year of the Monkey everyone! I don't follow astrology, and I'm a Tiger in any case, but I looked up what this year of the monkey has in store for us Tigers. For gits and shiggles. Among other things, this is apparently a very good year for me to have a baby! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
