PP...its a wonderful thing, even as delayed as it seems, so I wish you the best ...only thing more dire, IMO, would have been to realize your situation and unexperienced desires and stay because of your age, public pressure or that 'too late now' thinking...you go girl!

And they said when you were 15 and 16 it wouldn't last!
See? See? See? They were right! Best to you going forward.

You can cross "selfish" off your list.
I am one of those, have wheels/wings, will travel, with DH who prefers the home fires, he is happy I don't drag him places he doesn't want to be and I am happy I get to go "by myself" since it's my preferred mode of travel.
I had a widowed friend, who spent 6 month in Florida every year and loved it.
Then She met a new partner, who hated Florida and wasn't willing to go, so she started to go for 2 month only, and sitting across the table from them it was VERY obvious, that this "compromise" made them both miserable. Since then any time somebody says "compromise" I think, right, that means nobody gets what they wanted

Re: Poultry Princess grew a pair
I found that when I got the breast cancer diagnosis everything got the RESET button. A number of "friends" who didn't make me happy I ghosted away from and then I realised how much work I had to put into those people for zero benefit. I also found that my mouth filter was removed and I tended to have much less tolerance for idiots!

My first marriage, ten years. What I can say for sure is that the woman I divorced was not the woman I married. Sounds like that is sort of your situation too.

I wish to give a "BIG THANK YOU" to the PTO members for all your wisdom.
I appreciate the comments and am going to use them going forward.
Now I just need to figure out how to delete this thread!
It's Time to get back to "CHICKEN TALK" LOL
