Do rooster combs tend to lose a bit of color in the fall when the daylight is reduced? Its been bright red all summer but noticed its much paler now. I just wondered if its a seasonal things...or is my boy not feeling well?

2.Is he moulting or ready to? If so he may have lowered hormones and paler comb.

Well I hope the moult may be the reason for the paler comb then. I'd still keep a close eye on him though for any further changes.
