Who's egg is this?
OK you poultry experts,
I have a Mr Snake living under my patio and we live in more or less harmony and accept for the occasional frog legs he leaves behind is pretty inoffensive, if somewhat biggish and we do a bit of a dance when we meet on the steps going up to the patio, before we decide who has right of way.
Today the dog was a bit preoccupied by one of the entry holes so I went to check, and what at firs glance appeared to be a mushroom cap in the hole turned out to be an egg, that possibly the snake was bringing home and couldn't get thru the front door???????
Egg on left is a Wyandotte egg, egg on right is a mystery Egg

Snake eggs are kind of oval and often leathery.

I guess this is the egg mama, I have interrupted her when she was taking a dust bath in the backyard/construction zone.

You are evil, I am so glad I sold the incubators, not sure I could resist either, but then I am sure we would have a pet turkey on our handsKillerbunny wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 3:04 pmSnake eggs are kind of oval and often leathery.

I thought snakes just ate on the spot. I didn't know they would carry food back for later either. What kind of snake is it?
