Diligently follow the path of two swords as one. Percieve that which the eye cannot see. Seek the truth in all things. Do not engage in useless activity.

ha ha! at least if you read it out loud it gets the point across!!!
my hubby had his wisdom teeth out (long time ago) under a general....got him home, and into bed to sleep it off. Ran to the store to get his painkillers/antiinflammatories. Three days later i call the doctor because i hadn't heard about a followup appointment being booked yet for an ultrasound...she was all very surprised on the phone...."your appointment was at 9 this morning-i left a message with your husband a couple of days ago". turns out they had called while i was out for the 5 minutes i was gone, martin had answered the phone somehow, taken the message, gone back to sleep. When i asked him he didn't recall ever being on the phone or it ringing or talking to anyone...LOL. and somehow (the more impressive part) he had sounded NORMAL to the doctor's assistant on the phone so they had no clue that the message might not get through. The ultrasound office thought it was hysterical, thankfully, and didn't bill me for the missed appointment.
