For the most part I think that might be a bit of old news. That's why I get unpasteurized and local ... And haven't bought from stores in ... Actually I don't even know how long.
My grandmother actually taught me all about honey and why you should never buy from stores, and how once it's heated all the pollen, minerals and enzymes etc are destroyed. She was an environmentalist long before it was a 'thing'

We aways buy raw honey or local but I just didnt know how bad it all was. Ya know, corporations SUCK! And governments are letting us down.

so my question is what are they doing with all the pollen? my grandma used to make a cough syrup with natural honey, garlic n something else. you just scooped off the top, i remember it tasted good n worked. im guna have to ask her for the recipe.

Do you mean what do they do with the pollen once it is removed ?
Most health food stores sell pollen for its health benefits. I'm not sure how truly healthy it is once it is removed from its source, capsules, pilled and left sitting on a shelf for who knows how long.
