Do you not see the chicken hiding in the hosta in that pic? Lol. It’s him and his posse. Every chick I’ve ever had has nibbled on my hostas. Once they’re adults they don’t seem to touch them.

Love your pictures OC and Happy.
At my place its the chickens eating everything. My poor marigolds look worse than when I planted them. I tried placing sticks beside them to try and protect them, didn't work.

This year, I planted marigolds on purpose, for my hens. They are good for them. I also planted nasturtiums. We'll see if they are intrigued when the plants bloom.

I have been using host leaves in my cut flower arrangements, maybe I should be serving hosts in our salad, must taste good?
