That would take the fun right out of poultry, I like going and cleaning, watering, feeding, chatting with them etc.

LOL! Even if you had a couple of thousand of them

I enjoy it too, but maybe not so much with so many.

Don't think I'd want that many I'd be too out of touch with them. They wouldn't be my little feathered psychiatrists any more.

It would be a good use for all those boys ross!....although with 50 million or so you could pay ppl to take them. I dont want to be greedy...i only need 2 million. Really....just enough to share a little and retire. And still have feathered friends. Without a lawyer. Lol

Robbie... What no heat lamp?Robbie wrote:Port perry feeds was bought out by North York Farmers. They can get me flax bedding, AND chicken nipples.
Canadian tire was just putting out the spring garden supplies, and there were lots of bird nets- I have to screen off my outdoor chicken pen to keep the Juncoes out, and today was the day they had them.
I got the last bag of whole bean Decaf coffee at the Food Basics. The same store had lots of compost grapes (you know the discount rotting produce bin) so the chickens will be very happy.
The food basics ALSO had a new stock of Hawkin's Cheezies.
The stock market went up, 2 days in a row.
Now what could be better than that?
I must repeat what I said last year...don't give them a phone... Or they'll call my birds and I'll never hear the end of it!
Decaf??? Gimme a "jumpstart" double espresso then fill the cup with coffee. No amount of cream will make it change colour.

My flax bedding just went up over $2/bag. I asked her WTH! She actually said, 'you know how it is, it's cheap when no one uses it, now it's catching on, time to make some money'Robbie wrote:Port perry feeds was bought out by North York Farmers. They can get me flax bedding, AND chicken nipples.

Flax is pricey, 8 bucks a bag. I plan on mixing 50/50 with the fine quick pick shavings.
I do want to try that shredded straw.
