A whistling woman and a crowing hen will bring no luck to the house they are in.

My Irish Grandpa used to say that everytime he heard one of his grandkids whistling (which we would do just to hear his Irish brogue!)
I've never had a crowing hen!

Happy Saint Patty's day!

So what's the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish funeral?

One less drunk. :beer2: :farmer:

For the thousands and thousands and thousands of Irish people who WON'T be going out to get drunk tonight, I just want to say this regarding how the media likes to portray us
