Happy New Year's Eve!

Post by muffin57 » Sun Dec 31, 2017 1:33 pm

I hope everyone has a happy and a safe New Year's Eve. What has everyone have planned? Probably most of you will be hibernating eh? We just stay home and we are having my daughter and 3 grandson's stay the night. We like to spend New Year's together. My oldest grandson's birthday was yesterday, so I have made him a cake. He just turned 14, unbelievable. My how time passes. I'm making supper for us. I have the turkey in the oven now. I didn't cook it at Christmas, as we went to my youngest son's house. Have a great evening everyone!

Sounds like a great way to wind down a year @muffin57
Hope you and your family enjoy!
I thought about going to the outdoor Kim Mitchel concert in Barrie for about 15 seconds lol. He is the music of my youth but these bones are too old to stand out in these temps! Going to stay close to the fire and maybe have a couple white Russians (the drink not Trump's friends)
Salute!

Thanks Happy! Kim Mitchell sounds great, but not outdoors. I agree with you, stay safe and warm indoors and avoid frostbite. Enjoy your White Russians by the fire.

:HappyDance: :stars:

Best wishes for everyone in the coming year!

As for me, being the party animal that I am, I will probably sit around in my lounge pants, eating cookies or chips while watching tv, I will probably think about having a pop, then however I won't because I don't want it to keep me up past eleven so I will probably have a hot chocolate instead, oh yes it's the wild life for me!

Now we dance.

We're pretty wild too. I just got word that we may try to stay up until 9pm to celebrate - woohoo! Mind you we do have some cheap fizz and DH is just prepping strawberries in the kitchen.
