Re: Christmas present
Well done little rascals!
I hear ya OC! Our common conversation..."did Jester do a double?" Its minus 25 or so and these little rascals don't like the cold. She (the one eyed one on the right) has left "presents" on my parents side of the house more than once.

Diligently follow the path of two swords as one. Percieve that which the eye cannot see. Seek the truth in all things. Do not engage in useless activity.

Kenya, if you consider a dead rat as one of the best gifts ever, you must be really easy to shop for!

Skinny Rooster I tell people not to get me anything. I'm easy to buy for, a gift card for chapters works best but those rats every time I get hay I get rats then its a battle all winter to get rid of them. I'm so pleased with my little kitties and its the gift that keeps on giving!

Re: Christmas present
We have been fortunate to never have had rats. We did buy hay once that had signs of rats but luckily they either didn't hitch a ride or maybe because we have such a high number of predators here, they never established themselves here. As for cats, I can't sing their praises enough, I went four years without any for the first time ever on this farm. What a disaster, I never realized all the work they do for us without us even knowing it. I like cats for what they really are, teeny tiny lions with the kill power of a strong pellet gun.kenya wrote: ↑Wed Dec 27, 2017 11:36 amSkinny Rooster I tell people not to get me anything.
