This is all very interesting. One of my favorite cartoons is the one where Henry, the little chicken hawk, wants to catch a chicken. Foghorn Leghorn tells him that the dog is a chicken, and that he (Henry) doesn't want to catch Foghorn because Foghorn is a shnook, not a chicken. At the time I was choosing the name, Snooki from the Jersey Shore was all over the TV, so I made it Shnookie.

Love it! I don't know what Jersey Shore is, I really don't think you needed to worry too much-- most people here shun t.v. in favour of 'Chicken T.V.' lol

Baron Renfrew....did you know that the city Ontario in California had as one of it's founders a Chaffey from down here in Leeds County...specifically Chaffeys Locks on the Rideau...small world

and get this, I live by California Ontario....down the back roads from Chaffey's Locks.

Yeah that one always amuses me, really? California ??? did they take a wrong turn somewhere ???? couldn't have been the climate that inspired the name.

Shaded...you aren't that far away...I'm just up off the Narrows lock road...would enjoy seeing your birds sometime...i have an interest in rare breeds....
