I second the love of Beltsville White Turkeys, everyone should have a couple or 10 or 15. Though I am really liking my tri-colour and chocolate turkeys as they grow.

Look forward to hearing your comments on the various breeds of your turkeys...I think the tricolours may be from some of the red and tricolour pencilled palms I got from Porters 5 years ago. The ones I had were a bit bigger than the BSW and were very good eating too. And a pretty colour to boot!

Good morning,
Loud start to my morning dog going crazy about something, got dressed, walked around the barn, told dog he was going senile, had breakfast, read the paper, what there is left of it,
dog started again, looked out the window, beautiful fox going for a leisurely walk in front of the barn.
Apologized to dog, going on guard duty now and everybody under lock down until I can go out and sit with them.
So have a safe one :)

Hopefully he moves on OC. My sister-in-law came home to missing chickens 2 days in a row. Only found one body. Last I talked to them they were down 6-8 chickens. Fox has been spotted around. They have no pen to contain so I guess they’ll need to rethink things. I feel bad and maybe I should have taken in their survivors but I know she was dealing with something respiratory and I didn’t want it in my flock

Well I just wanted to share some very good news. Some of you know I was diagnosed with very early Breast Cancer last year. I wish to report that yesterday I completed my year of Chemo and targeted treatments! I can now GET ON WITH LIFE (and more birds of course). Thanks to all of the PTO members who supported me through this it really helped.
