Good afternoon I have not been on much lately, busy with kids back in school and me teaching.

Sounds good WLL, I will be around tomorrow, text or email when you are close, in case I am out I can rush home. Safe travels.

Good morning! I haven't been on here much either. Just too darn busy!!

Took a horse to Guelph for a cancerous tumour more likely removed from the corner of her eye. We ended up nearly in trouble on #6... we were wondering why all the truck/traffic was coming down a country road... and when we got onto #6 we knew why. That huge accident that killed 2 people. Its suspected a guy grabbed a girl in Cambridge, and a police chase ensued... and he made it down the 401 and got off at #6. He then drove straight into a tractor trailer. Murder/suicide? No one knows much yet.... but we got on #6 and were able to do a quick u turn, and go back to that country road and take the back way in.

Got the pit silo full... good feeling. Don't get to enjoy much of the great outdoors when thats going on... too busy cooking up gourmet meals to feed the crew for the freaking two days.

Been busy doing double bus runs most of last week, cept friday in the afternoons. I wish they would hire on new drivers. They seem to... but they don't seem to be able to hack it.

Babysitting also... trying to get the garden ready for bed/planting garlic. I did get the manure on... just have to work it in... closer to when its time to plant. Don't want it up and growing. Going to be a hot muggy weekend.

The huge Rockton Fair is this weekend. Daughter Melissa and I were up yesterday morning recording judges findings... and putting on Ribbons. Home by noon... and in two hours, Gary and Melissa went to pick up Honey in Guelph. Won't know IF the mass was cancer eye or not. Now the putting in of drops/antibiotic creams... and bute for a few days. Stall rest required. I laughed at that one. They are outside horses. They have a shelter, and its up to them to use it. Which they rarely do anyhow.

Was awake most of the night.... Jess's water broke around 11:15pm. After a couple hours they went in.... after a couple hours they were send back home.... and still home. Apparently her contractions aren't heavy enough, or spaced closer...... I told her maybe she should go in and get things moving along. Thinking like a farmer... if a cow broke her bag and hours later... nothing, I would be worried about her drying out. But I guess they are not worried.... baby's heartbeat was good... its in the right position... and moving right down.. so I would hope soon enough.

I guess everyones labour and delivery are different. The midwife was going to call them sometime this morning. I'm in limbo because Sawyer will be with me until its all said and done... and he can go in to meet his new sibling.

I did bookwork until about midnight last night, when I should have been in bed. Because all night I got updates from Jess.... and when I went over there to sit... I ended up in their bed... and then updates... updates.... and then coming home... and then a friend started texiting in the wee hours, I doubt I slept 2 hours! lol.

Well... I guess I will go over there and see whats going on. Sawyer I know will be up at least!

sheesh! How do I compete with that? Just doing the autumn stuff that needs done. Rounded up the feral pumpkins.

I said the wrong thing and Carla turned into She Hulk.

Good afternoon, just had a quick visit from WLL to bring me 2 "not for Thanks Giving" turkeys. Safe travels WLL.

Well break time is over back to doing something useful, since I have not been very productive today.

Beautiful baby girl born late this afternoon. She ended up being breech. So... after many hours, a C-Section. Wonder how she could be head down last night?? NOT.

She has a little 'crick' in the neck.. and will need some physio to straighten her out, as shes been sitting in there being squished for a few weeks. But, shes healthy, pink, and 8,8!!
