Please help with duck. Pics
So I noticed one of my call duck females with this on the side of her face. I'm not sure if I should cut it open. It's very hard. She seems fine. She is currently setting on a cluch of eggs so I don't want to stress her out to much and make her stop setting.

Check up inside her beak/mouth in that corner to see if food impacted /stuck in there .Is it soft or hard . If soft & not feed drain with syringe & put iodine on / in it from outside . If hard put a antiseptic medication cream on it from outside to hopefully draw out . I use Mecca . Luck

Yeah i would do what ross suggested. Dont cut it open but use a syringe to try to drain it if its not food etc inside. If its goopy and wont drain then a small lancing about 1/8 inch long may be enough to drain and then pack with antiseptic or polysporin or somethibg like that. My bet given the red colour is its an infection from poking herself with something.
