Good day all! This is how Jojo looked when he greeted me this morning. Poured rain overnight, but there is absolutely no stopping lgd's from doing what they were bred to do.

Re: Good Morning!
g'day all!
had a great day yesterday at the wyoming sale! awesome to see everyone!
oh dean, that's one muddy set of paws. there are times i am glad that we are on sand at my place......this latest rain is one of them!
congrats on the babies KB and thegawd!
i hatched 9/10 turkeys on friday and 36 of 38 guineas yesterday! that 1 degree C drop in the hatcher is the key i think. lots of fuzzybutts running around my place now, soon i'll need to select the old girls for retirement to hobby farms or auction or freezer camp, same with some of the boys. put my last hatch in last night-the light brown leghorns from coonhound (thank you!) and assorted eggs from my pens over the last week. these will be the final ones for me....enough to fill any outstanding orders, plus replace a few that were lost to a fox by a previous purchaser (they bought 8 and within 24 hours the fox cleaned them out so he wants more-and has dug his fence already).
not quite floating away, only had another inch last night LOL. big thunderstorms, and it feels like we will have more today....survived my first day at 6 hours at work...we'll see how i am at the end of the week. got most of the garden planted this weekend, just need to weed and mulch thickly.
that will get done when it gets done. still have peppers to plant. and carrots to plant. tonight i'm going to try to fill and plant another 2 patio pots or so. then also have some livingstone daisies to put somewhere, and bachelors buttons (cornflowers). i am an ALS researcher and the cornflower is the official flower of the ALS Society, i grow some every year.
hope everyone is having a great day.

Re: Good Morning!
OK so I had to go out and 3 of Kathleens 8 managed another suicide pact in the only bucket of water I had not found. I came home to chaos as another broody had hatched out too and her kids had got mixed with some of SUndays. Oh boy - turkeys!
