Oh my goshDominion Link wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2017 6:15 pmThanks for the kind words WWW :) We're so glad that you are pleased with Penny puppy!
Cambridge to Enniskillen isn't a bad drive at all Colleen, especially on a weekend :) We have family in London and St Thomas and that's only a 2 hr drive for us.....
Please don't tempt me!
The picture was hard enough for me to have to tell myself. I do not need another dog. I do not need another dog
I'm sure they will all find loving homes
For now I'll just keep going back to look at the picture. Lol

Re: Good Morning!
i need a LGD. but so far my horse has been the best LG"D" ever....coyotes 0, ted 2. and the rest of my critters are behind wire or inside....for now....maybe sometime. need to get the 2 i have back under control first. especially with tango's health up and down right now.
they are so unbelievably gorgeous though, especially the black masked one! LOL.
okay, not going to look at the photos again. nope.
thinking of photos don't forget to vote for your fav photo of the month!
well, today is my uncle's funeral. he passed last sunday, i won't be headed up - it's too long a drive the surgeon says - it's way up near owen sound about 4.5 hours from home for me - i'll miss him tremendously. he's the guy that nurtured a fishing and hunting addiction. LOL. taught me how to fillet the boniest fish ever so they are edible. awesome guy, great woodworker and awesome dad, husband, uncle, son, and granddad. he'll be missed, but he's in a better place, he had battled metastasized prostate cancer for many many years.
and i will have at noon successfully completed my first 5 straight half days at work since surgery. didn't think i'd be able to do it, but it has so far gone surprisingly well. yay!
looking forward to a smaller road trip this weekend. have to pick up my pasture grass seed, and maybe scope out some fruit trees, and maybe some additional fruit canes for the garden. and hopefully pop in and see some brand new babies at BVFs. i think we'll stay out of the woods there though, not wild about the number of ticks you guys found yesterday LOL.
checked over my beasts and didn't find any....hopefully they all baked in our 28C temp yesterday. glad it's cooler again today. hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Re: Good Morning!
Some new additions from Performance Poultry. Magpies and fawn & white Runners. First time for me dealing with PP and quite happy with the experience. Now to hope they grow into good quality birds.

Re: Good Morning!
flying visit to BVF's today! good to see her and gary and their daughter and her hubby and their not so new baby!!!! cannot believe how much mason has grown up! stopped in for pasture seed at dam's, pleasant ridge for farrier's formula for the horses and fly spray for the horses, and then northland nursery and came back with way more than the 2 redbuds i was hoping to get! LOL. that place is amazing! got some roses and russian sage and redbuds and another grape cultiver! whoohoo! also came home with 7 dozen guinea eggs and a promise that shirley will take back the ones i don't want LOL. took up 12 fertilized turkey eggs for her dedicated broody jenny, so she can actually hatch something hopefully! oh, i should mention the start of the day....we were a little late getting started because....
hubby woke up in the dark and off he went turkey hunting. i stayed in bed. got sore so decided i would get up about 7 and one of my jennys outside was barking up a storm, something wrong, so i look out and somehow she's gotten out of the pen, so pulled on a jacket and puttered out...had to open up the barn to get her in and then trap her in the barn and open the stall door. well, she flew over the stall wall and went out the horse door and when i went to head her off there were gunshots and she came flying over the top corner of the barn! i thought who the heck is hunting MY jenny on the other side of the barn!??! (stranger things have happened out here) so i get her trapped finally in the barn and manage to herd her into the correct turkey stall, and head out the horse door to yell at whomever is in my field, and see my hubby coming across the field with his turkey over his shoulder! lol. so. glad it wasn't someone after my girls, not sure how his gun sounded so loud, but he was successful and we'll have turkey next week for dinner! YUM! took the requisite photos and then went in to do my physio and breakfast etc etc. THEN finally got on the road to BVFs and all the other stores (road trip day). even stopping every so often during the driving was a bit much, pretty sore tonight. but hubby got an awesome (looks like it will jump up and run away) jake decoy and a gobble call from antler river archery in delaware-awesome store, awesome guys in there. and then pleasant ridge, then dams, then BVFs - all the brand new calves are gorgeous, especially the little grey girl! sorry we didn't see colleen....something about her being busy in the bush or something....saw all the birds and all the cows and all the calves and all the guineas and and and! then the nursery, then home again. funniest part was at dam's they had my ordered picked and packed and just told my hubby "it's on the cart" and let him load, so he loaded it all into the car and when we got to northland i discovered that someone else's order had also been on the cart and they didn't say anything! so BVF ran it over to dam's for us so we didn't have to drive back there LOL. oh dear. i guess the person was there looking for their order.....gads. ooops. anyhoo got our pasture seed so i know what i'm doing tomorrow! and have to check when redbuds can go out and be planted, and russian sage and the grapevine and the roses. it all has leaf already....so they're in the greenhouse for now. fun day. i'm real sore tonight, lesson learned, that's too long in the car yet....but good to see everyone again! and, no ticks from BVFs place yay! lol. they had one in a pill bottle on their kitchen table. i really wanted to light it on fire, or cut it into pieces. ha ha.
