FINALLY it hits something that is worth hitting! must have been spectacular to see that....
we had a strike in the north bush a couple storms back followed instantly by 3 big deer racing south out of the bush....

So they have another purpose - lightning rods. It would be scary to be near it when it was hit. I wonder how often they get hit by lightning.
