So, a friend of mine has a daughter who is married to the guy who looks JUST like donald trump. He is entered in a doppleganger competition run by FM96 radio station in London right now. It's open for voting, basically you vote for the person that you think looks the most like the name under the photo.....it's fun, he's made it to the second round of voting and i think he's pretty convincing!
might be fun. LOL

beautiful day. sunny, not quite 75, but i'll take it! i'm thinking about a walk outside today! and letting the turkeys out shortly. I just had a big sciency report to decipher from a cancer care program in the USA for my dad.....took a little longer than i thought it would....but interesting stuff, at least we know what he's dealing with now-in detail.

don't forget to vote for the photo of the month! lots of awesome entries this month, it's soooo hard to pick! but you need to pick before 11:59 on the 31st if you want to have a say!

started physio yesterday. it was good. and i'm not broken today, so must be doing something right. still no swimming though. and chasing a starling through the house yesterday morning i discovered i cannot run. and i shouldn't run. and i shouldn't even try. but that's okay, i never enjoyed running anyways! i really like the physio clinic, and the PT. super nice. it's weird to not be able to bend side to side at all! and to feel the bars stop me from twisting....but i feel great, and a bit better every day! and no pain pills at all during the day! whoohoo! and i drove myself! that was NICE.
tomorrow is a going away thank you get together at work for a technician that is finished her position, and i'm going to be good enough to go in for that. yes! That's something i really do not want to miss at all.

okay, off to let out the birds and open up the barn to let the air through and the sun in! love this weather!!!! hope everyone has a great one!

Baron, FRF is correct, momma dog is a bluetick coon hound. Dad is a Pyrenees. I'm hoping that the two breeds have combined perfectly for my needs and I've picked out Super Farm Puppy (cue superhero music)! It occurs to me that I'm going to want to introduce her to baby chicks, and I haven't hatched any yet. Still waiting on eggs from other breeders, so haven't done any of my own (see? I DO have willpower! :) ) So maybe I'll finally let Frankie go broody... She's been trying to sit every 6 weeks like clockwork.

Your puppy is doing great www and we brought her 2 fostered sisters home to join her a few days ago. They're all playing hard, napping hard and plowing through food.... Sorry again for the muddy paw prints on your shoulders. That's a habit that Jojo's previous owner thought was cute and while we've corrected it among his circle of people we haven't yet completely broken him of "hugging" strangers.

Well we have the start of this storm upon us... heavy rain, ice balls, I think thats called hail LOL and about 2 inch snow flakes. Real messy! But I guess were not supposed to get it nearly as bad as most of Ontario. Take it easy n drive safe everyone!!!

Yesterday I officially got myself a new tractor!!! A real tractor this time! Its a John Deere 318 that has been in my possession for about 3 years now stored under a heavy duty tarp and then in the barn here, I've been waiting n drooling over it since I first seen it. It was my FIL, and for the first time in a while he agreed to sell it to me! He dosent usually sell things to me, just lets me use them and take care of them.

Well its 18hp, fully hydrolic transmission with all the hydrolic hook ups for a bucket or other accessories. I only have the deck for cutting grass. Iv been looking for a JD 44 loader for it for a while now, there is one for sale in Kitchener but they want $3200 for it, rightfully so as thats the only one I can find in Canada... grrr! People dont usually sell these tractors and definitely not the implements. Oh well the search continues as that's way to much. So I fixed a tire, cleaned up the air breather mouse nest, charged up n hooked up a battery, sprayed some carb cleaner in and she fired right up! WOOOHOOO she sounds AWESOME and feels great. I cant wait to be hauling wood out of the bush with this especially since it would seem that I blew up the motor in my other lil tractor...

Have a great day everyone!

Not my pic or tractor but same model...
