Small Flock # for meat birds???

Post by Eggsaggerate » Sun Mar 19, 2017 5:09 pm

Whenever I have bought meat chicks the form 300 comes with them. You have to keep it and take to the processing plant if you are not doing the birds yourself. You can also register with Chicken Farmer of Ontario as a Family Food Grower (https://www.familyfoodgrower.ca/) - any home raised birds can be processed at a licensed facility but you will need to contact the Chicken Farmers beforehand, tell them how many birds you hatched and they will email the form 300 to you. This must be taken to the processing plant.
