I was really sorry to hear that.
Loved his Vinyl Cafe, for some reason, could listen to repeats, which I normally don't tolerate well.
Great humorist will be much missed.

CBC Ottawa had a nice little call in on their noon hour show today. Someone must have been chopping onions in my car though during some of the calls.

What I will miss most is being able to listen to stories on the radio while driving or working at home. It's rare these days to just have a good story presented on the radio anymore. It's now switched to news and radio documentaries that are often boring or depressing. Radio lends itself so well to the kind of thing Stuart McLean did and its just good storytelling for its own sake and simple enjoyment.
The good thing is I expect they'll be in reruns and most of them are so good you don't mind hearing them over and over....
RIP Mr. McLean!
