Hello from Maple Heights Farms and me, Greg Bray
Hello everyone.
I have been looking around for a bit and thought that it was about time that I said hello. My name is Greg Gray and I live in Innisfil, Ontario with my beautiful wife and 3 lovely daughters. My daughter are in 4H and we raise various breeds of poultry, have a large sugar bush and also a few sheep and a couple of donkeys.
I must admit that I also have a bit of an addiction. I love birds.
At the Royal Winter Fair this year our birds won a few ribbons:
- China Goose - 1st is Class
- Buff Gander - 1st in Class
- Buff Goose - 1st in Class and Reserved Champion waterfowl
- Young Spanish Black Tom - won division
- Young Bourbon Red Tom - won division
and my pride and joy "Denzel" won Grand Champion Turkey as well as the William Braden Trophy (Best Turkey).
My Giants, Orpingtons, Sussex and Wyandottes won 2nds and 3rds but I am happy with them and think that next year will be better.
My lines come from Donny Weir Farms, Bill Braden and Cadillac Acres (private joke) as well as a few lesser known but excellent lines.
I am busy with the kids, the birds and life so do not get time to get online much, but I do look forward to knowing you.
If you have any questions or need anything please let me know. I am just getting ready to fire up the incubator for an early spring hatch.
Have a great day.

Welcome to the site.
Sounds like you have some nice birds there. What breeds of turkeys do you keep?
