Few false starts are par for the course,
I know you are a dedicated family man, next time you are gathering your inner Mojo to quit again, remember that your kids will copy you, and their lives will be less healthy if they smoke, and your time with them will be shorter if you smoke. Beside the monetary cost, the health costs are staggering.

Champix worked for me... then I fell off the wagon for 6 months. So, I tried again. Champix worked again - so much so that the thought of smoking still makes me nauseous. Its been about 8 years now!

Congratulations!

So I decided to wash all of my coats and a canvas bag I use to just get the smell away. What did i pull out of the bag? A full pack of smokes lol. Yelled for hubby to come get it and destroy it. Not gonna lie...That was hard. But I'm still staying the course.

I have been out of the nicotine fog for a long time, no idea what the cost is now, anybody willing to do the math, based on package of cigarets per day?

Deal! We both need willpower but we would also just be cheating ourselves if we don't keep at it!

Oh I've done the math for mine. Now I had expensive taste so my smokes were $14 a pack. You can get different brands cheaper. I averaged 3/4 pack a day. It's pushing 4K in a year. That was never a motivation for me to quit...It will however be a motivation to stay quit. Honestly...My 11 year old niece asking me to quit (not nagging or yelling like kids do lol) is my driving force. And now meeting @WLLady to go for a long walk ;)

Five years is $20,000.00
10 years is $40,000.00
That is substantial change.
