not a problem at all! I think the reason some of these pics post sideways even though they appear correct on a phone, of course if the pic was taken with a phone, is because the phone is not set to auto rotate. so the pic is taken with the phone up but the camera is actually sideways. in order for me to fix it I flipped it right and tested it and it was still sideways. so I flipped the edited pic back to the left which corrected it. I dont know, its a theory anyways. :-)

how many birds are you bringing? is it a lot of paperwork to bring a bird across the border to show? I know your on top of all vaccinations and your birds are vet tested so is it then just a matter of filling out the paperwork and attaching the vet papers then? or.... sorry for these questions I just always wonder about this process.

Im sure you will do great!!! have a good one Troy!

That is correct. Picture files carry a lot more than just the picture. The date, the shutter setting, sometimes the location, the orientation the camera was in, ... This is called exiff information and can be viewed on any desktop.
When you upload the information was to take the picture 90deg rotated. On a phone this is no problem, you are happy that the pic shows big, and you rotate the phone. Here it's an issue because the rest of the page doesn't rotate. There are a few add ons that are trying to fix this, but none are working properly yet. I'll keep looking though...

There other way to remove the exiff info is to "save as" in a different picture format.

Al
Its more of a pain in the pocket book than anything.. there is a procedure that I can share with anyone wanting to know .. probably not the place for it on a public form. We are taking 25 ....
