Good Morning!

Post by Killerbunny » Thu Dec 29, 2016 5:51 am

I am so sorry Jaye. A few years ago I had a very similar experience. My Mother didn't tell me until my Xmas call to her that the AUnt who basically brought me up had died.
Big hugs to you.

No need to apologise for anything Jaye, you needed to share/get that off your chest. Nothing wrong with that or that you shared it here, I like to think of this forum as "family" anyways :grouphug:

Sorry to hear that Jaye! I hope you can send her off in your own way in this new/strange situation.

Jaye..i am truly sorry that you missed your opportunity to say good bye to your aunt...and of course, there is no need to apologize... Your second post struck me, once again, that there is usually more than one side to every story...unless your cousins come forward to enlighten you on their actions, you may never know the true facts but giving the benefit of doubt can bring peace, and you have done that...

I had something like that happen years ago Jaye and found out that once my relative degenerated enough to go to home he didn't want anyone to come and see as he was now & getting to be but just remember as he was before . Same as funeral no service just immediate family . Maybe if you can talk to family a memorial service sometime down road might work . Luck

Jaye...we are kindrid spirits...and feather lovers...a family of sorts. Some are Facebook friends...some are "ham" radio friends...we are poultry keeping friends. Feel free to share here again...even if the thoughts (or emotions) are unprocessed and incomplete.

Good Morning!

Post by Bayvistafarm » Sun Jan 01, 2017 6:12 pm

It was such a beautiful day today, much of it was spent outside!! Right after chores, we all headed back on various machines, and watched Sawyer toboggan down the hills. We came up when he got cold. I then gathered some wood after chatting with Sandy... and headed back to build a fire in the woodstove at the cabin. She came later that afternoon, and I took coffee and her back and we drank coffee and chatted. So nice a quiet back there!! We had a good time. She actually just left not too long ago.

I'm going to go out and see her and AVA and Drake and her bunny and kitty this week sometime. I still have a whole week off from the bus.

I came in from the barn not long ago... and am sitting by the fire. Nice in here. A hot bath is next in the order of things!! Maybe supper, and my book and bed!! Happy New year everyone!!

Ok... so I've been signed in here, and just clicked submit... and there it goes... sitting and spinning. Good thing when I clicked the back button and then the forward button, my post was still there. Sigh. Copy.... delete cookies.... sign out... sign in... and paste. Hopefully I can get this posted.
