We are in a big province...what are we having only one BBQ on one date in one place? I say we have a BBQ near Kingston... Maybe at Waupooscowgirl's place sometime in May...when the flowers are on the apple trees. And then a BBQ in August...maybe near London with Martin and Kathy. Some wacky folks (like me) can go to both.

...and that's why I suggest one stop at your place.

First annual (2016) Piknik was at my place, I'm in between Ottawa and Brockville. I think that puts me in the red zone 7 on the above map. Being about an hour and a half from the Quebec border, lots of people Central/West couldn't come. I think our farthest traveller was from near Barrie. When you have livestock, leaving even for a day, never mind a long overnight trip, can take a lot of planning and preparation. I fully expect to be travelling quite a distance for the 2nd one this year, and I'm glad the ball has started rolling so early! Ontario is REALLY big, bigger than many many countries. My brother lives near Timmins, and it's an 11 hour drive to get there from here

Hi @porkcow welcome to :PTO:, please select one or more option(s) in the list/poll instead of stating your travel area in the thread. It's a lot easier to tally everyone up that way. Thanks!

If possible I would really like to get down Kathys way to see Ted & Molly! They sound wonderful. I'm not going to vote bcause so much depends on other things ATM but will try to make it.
