Is that The Grand River project? If so, I believe it is another 67 or so Enercon 101's 3MW 124m high (potentially 134m)turbines, not including the high of the blades.
No. I don't remember the project name but the company is Invenergy. I have been going to the community information sessions for both the wind farm and the potash mine so I can see how I will be affected. Lots of the people out here are not concerned about it.

Oh wait, you're in Regina?
I'm about 15 minutes outside Regina. The wind farm and the potash mine will both be in the municipality next to mine. Invenergy has already got contracts with the farmers that own the land. Not many people live on that land - it is mostly flat cultivated land. There is almost nothing out here to stop the wind except the odd shelterbelt around a yard, so I suspect that noise and vibrations from the turbines will travel far too. People who live on the land surrounding it may be affected.

Ok, so a quick search showed me Chaplin Lake Wind project is denied.
Yes, I heard this one was denied because of the high bird populations that use the lake and the land near the proposed site. I don't remember who fought to have it stopped.
