Good Morning!
They even had some left when I was done with them! LolWLLady wrote:QR_BBPOST We got them, and they dent the metal like crazy from 10 yards away! LOL. they're fun to shoot though.....but i can't use them in the barn safely....i think they were about 15$ or so for 50 .22LR shells, and they were at the St Thomas canadian tire store.

Good Morning!
Good morning!
Very foggy here, and as I am dragging my feet to take the dog for a walk, it seems to be getting foggier by the minute, think I should have gone earlier.
First pullet eggs in the last week, about 2 weeks later then usual, so they are also dragging their feet.
Molt has become so protracted, it now seems like a permanent situation.
Got some great sunflower seeds from WaupoosCG, via KB, thank you both, hope the chickens appreciate this special treat and start delivering, or at least grow some feathers.
Have a safe one!

Good Morning!
Afternoon all! Glad i am not on the east coast right now.....although it is time for snow.....
Tomorrow is, thankfully, another work from home day. So many sick people at work right now and i really have to try not to get it!!!! i'm already tired....so i'm carrying around my hand sanitizer and using it religiously, and now the stink of it is bugging me LOL. We are slowly getting the lab stuff moved over to the new space, and should be done by the end of next week! yay! I get to move my stuff on monday, then pre-op will take a ton of time on tuesday, not even sure if i'll make it to work after pre-op is over! then the equipment all moves on wednesday and then the students move all their stuff. final exit inspections for the old space on monday the 12th. Just 1 week before i am away....cutting it too darned close, but it will be done!!!! somehow! LOL
Feeling a tad bummed out lately....hope it hasn't been too noticeable....my dad was diagnosed with stage4b pancreatic cancer about 8 weeks ago now. He started chemo finally yesterday, but it's in his lungs too. So for a while there we were hoping that surgery might have been possible, because of some question on the lung thing...but the biopsy showed very clearly that its in his lungs, so surgery is no longer an option. So he's doing 2 months of chemo and a reassess....at least it gives me him to worry about going into my surgery, so i won't stress out over me as much. Anyways, hoping that my surgery goes well and i heal fast so i can get out to see him. the prognosis on pancreatic isn't great....sigh. we're planning a big "eat crab till we throw up" party on either the east coast or the west coast (depending on if they go through with the move they were planning or not) early summer 2017...if we both make it that long! anyways, good incentive to get back on my feet after they turn me into the bionic woman (sounds better than ironwoman, both are probably patented somewhere...).
funny how life throws all kinds of things at people all at once! sure hope it slows down soon. get all the crap over with NOW and maybe we'll have a nice long quiet retirement....?
bed mattress and box spring are ready for pick up, just need hubby to cut some cross pieces to go under then on the frame....and dog has successfully completed his first month on drugs, another 2 to go for his liver, and he looks like he's knocked off some weight on the new feeding regimen i have him on....so that's good too. busy weekend planned, i know it's only thursday, but looking forward to the weekend already. finish turkey pen wire on the front of the pens hopefully, then i can kick them outside to clean out the pens inside! once they are done the major barn cleaning is finished! clean out the now empty layer coop. 7 birds to a new home on saturday if they answer their phone, or i might just drop them off into their coop LOL. then clean that pen in the basement, and get started on cleaning the house. need to figure out some easy lunch stuff for me for after surgery that i can put in an easy to get to spot....and need to clean out the freezers in the basement and the one in the kitchen...will be a busy weekend. and of course a little bit of swimming in there too!
i just wanted to say that i really enjoyed the show here. Troy is amazing, and hopefully we can plan to do another one next year!!!! we'll have to think about moulting times and all that LOL. I really enjoyed seeing all the birds that were entered, and learning a whole new way to "look" at the birds, thanks to the comments!!!!!
hope everyone has a great rest of the day!
