Where can you buy decent welded wire?

Have a cool plan for a coop? Or new roost designs? Or you simply want to show off your new building.

Thanks everyone. If anybody knows a brand name for heavy duty hardware cloth, 1/2" squares, that would be great- Waupoos cowgirl was that Red Brand fencing? That stuff I do know about, I actually have the 2x4" mesh, but looking for smaller stuff. Doug the chickenman what brand of fence is that?
Ross what's HD fencing? Is that a brand name?
BobG no small critter farms around here, just cattle and barn raised chickens. The chicken wire I've seen sold at feed stores is crap too.
I'm tempted to order in a container load of decent fencing from alibaba . Might even be worthwhile.

Heavy Duty . Fencing goes by guage . Lower the # heavier the wire . As Sue says check TSC out back stock not in store . I have found that not all big box stores have same products stock . Depends on sales in each area . The product lists can be different best to check your local . Luck

I think these guys supply home depot, I recognize the boxes.
I have a technical question: Is there a technical term /alloy that determines how stiff the wire is? I had "heavy gauge" fencing 2x4 that the rabbits could bend and easily squeeze through the wire bent so easily. It was useless.
The 2x4 red brand is the same gauge but much stiffer. Is that what high tensile means?

The thickness is determined by Gauge ie 14 ga is stronger than 16 ga . I have used 14 ga for yrs no racoon or other critter has destroyed the wire .

Alright class, lets open our workbooks (the pdf guide brochure from Red Brand) to page 5 where it shows the wire knots they use: the Monarch knot, the Square Deal Knot and the Cross Lock Knot : which are used to : allow the fence to bend and spring back; to allow flexibility over hillsides while maintaining strength; and to firmly hold wires in place so animals don't push the wire around

Oh... was I a bit sarcastic there? sheesh, first day of a New Year and breaking resolution already...

It's not not knowing about the knots, it's not knowing the wire quality terms that's driving me nuts. Some wire is quality, some is not. Or nought- quality wire which I want not.
The wire is nice and thick but a baby could bend it. Not the red brand, the other home depot stuff, wire is the same gauge. So what I need to know, is , is there a technical term for how stiff a wire is? I need to ask without getting snickers from the sales staff. Like when I asked a Home Depot guy where his caulk was.
