Yah, but it will not get fixed before that and I suspect the idea was to get your house in order by the end of the year.
starting the new year with a giant crack in the windshield somehow offends my sense of order. :)
I always make sure DH cooks on New Years day, but it hasn't really reflected in him cooking for the rest of the year, so probably doesn't work? ;)

Hmmmm. Whatever I do on New Year's Day is for the remainder of the year. Noted!

Happy New Years everyone.

Happy New Year to all my friends at PTO. You have been a great source of information, fun, support and friendship. You never complain when I rant or share my silly stories. All the best in 2016 to you and your families.

:smilewithrooster: Good Morning, on this first day of the New Year!Went for a hike with DH & dog, now waiting for the duck to roast so dropped in for a bit of poultry talk.
A bit suspicious of this "store bought" duck, seems to have awfully long wing tips, sure doesn't look like a Peking duck. ;)
Snowing gently here, back to cooking for me.
Have a nice one, and remember, whatever you do today you will be doing for the rest of the year. :smilewithrooster:

Good morning everyone! somehow....with the help of bayvistafarm and 3 jurassic park movies we managed to see midnight last night! LOL. first time in i don't know how many years. and i must say that i enjoyed the "people getting munched by dinosaurs" movies.
today the wind is blowing, snow is going (and blowing) and the fire is going in the woodstove, and chores are done for the morning, and everyone has liquid water. thankfully it's not too cold out, but the woodstove looks really nice right now. maybe i'll clean up a bit in the house. did some soap last night with bayvistafarm, my house smells like lavender now. there are worse smells...like dog farts LOL.

first day of the new year. no resolutions except to make it through another year best we can.
i sure hope that whatever i do today i do NOT do for the rest of the year....because i think that's going to involve shoveling snow.... !!

Its chilly out!! I got home in good time from WLLady's... and had a good time!! Made the most softest, delicious smelling lavender soap!! And she gave me most of it to take home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it. So easy. Can't wait to go get more supplies to make more!! Can't wait 6 weeks to cure. Good to get away from here, and the incessant work. But.. I did get home in time to go bed the cows, while hubby is moving a horse for a friend of my sisters (lives with her actually... they bought 2 horses together, and they keep them across the field at a barn they rent.. you can SEE it from their place), to Dunville.. and how silly... they bought a big fifth wheel horse trailer, and a big truck to pull it... but I guess didn't get the brakes done last year (how stupid)... and because theres no place to ride around there?????????????????? They have the whole Dairy farm (who owns that barn), and surrounding property, with the rail trail right across the road!! Now the horses will live separate, will miss each other... and they won't be able to ride together. Dunville isn't just right around the corner from Copetown. I suspect going to her brothers dairy farm. This woman has invested alot of money in those horses, and their board... and the truck/trailer/hay... WTF? They must be snitting. Makes me mad, because I wanted to go make a feed run after chores. Oh well. As soon as this lady who said shes going to be here by 1pm to get some eggs... (Its nearly 1:30pm... HEAVY SIGH)... I'll use son Daves truck.

People bug me. They don't even have to be alive, and they bug me. Happy New year.
