at least it should stay the same, sometimes spending a lot of time in the sun will bleach feather colour a bit....but lacing should stay....

Blue lacing
I just meant as the bird gets older, but didn't say it very well. I have some birds that have gotten lighter (not blue ones) as they are aging, and I wondered if the lacing on my blue Ameraucana cockerel will stay the same as it is now. He's 5 1/2 months. I will take more pictures as time goes on so I can see if it changes.

Pea comb in our climate is a definite advantage.
